Nicolas Jackson has hailed teammate, Raheem Sterling as ‘The best’ following his electric performance during Chelsea’s 4-1 thrashing of Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday.

Sterling, who forced Chelsea’s equaliser during the first half of the game, also had a hand in every other goal by the Blues, who registered a back to back win in the league for only the first time in 12 months.

Jackson was also on target in the game, as was Cole Palmer, but it was Sterling, who was the undisputed Man of the Match, which is no wonder the former Manchester City man was showered with accolades after the trip to Turf Moor.

After the match, the England international celebrated the win with an Instagram post, with many of his teammates also commending him for his contribution.

“That’s more like it. Three more points,” Sterling wrote in the post, to which Jackson replied: “The best.”

Marc Cucurella also commented: “Sonic.”

Sterling was recently omitted from Gareth Southgate’s latest England squad for their upcoming internationals against Australia and Italy, but surely, the Three Lions manager must regret the decision now?
