Burnley head coach, Vincent Kompany has insisted that Chelsea have played well this season, and have only been unlucky to not win many games.
The Blues will face Kompany’s Burnley at the Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon, after getting a positive result against Fulham earlier in the week.
Chelsea are currently 11th on the league table, but Kompany believes it’s only a matter of time before the talented group in Mauricio Pochettino’s side begins to gel.
Ahead of facing the Blues, the Ex-Manchester City captain said: “They are a talented side, the first question is how unlucky they have been.
“It is always the case with big clubs, having results all the time. When you look at their games, there is a very good side with very good players. It will happen at some time hopefully not at Turf Moor.”
On Chelsea’s spending, Kompany said: “I have been part of an environment when – as a player – money could be spent. Now I am part of an environment where we are far from being the biggest spending.
“I don’t have a single complaint about it. They have fantastic players. The exciting part for us is we can get so much better from our own resources.”
