Burnley manager, Vincent Kompany is upbeat ahead of his side’s Premier League meeting with Chelsea this weekend.
The Clarets are in dire need of good results, after picking up just one win since their promotion to the Premier League, and Kompany seems confident ahead of facing Chelsea.
“It’s difficult for me to say what Poch is dealing with, I have my reference from being at a top club so I know the challenges comes with that but all I can say that here we’re at a different situation,” Kompany said.
“We have a good group, good players, I have no complaints with my side, I’m happy. I’m excited to work with my side, they’re a good group, they run their socks off for the club, from there I think we can get good results.
“Where were at now, we have a lot of players of a similar level which is a good thing. Sometimes we have to leave a player out and bring them back in, behind that there are players of a similar level, so you might see differences.
“It’s always about finding a balance but ultimately I think team cohesion, playing together and knowing your tasks is much more important than experience. But in terms of balance we want to make sure we have enough players to take us through the Premier League.”
