Chelsea academy graduate Levi Colwill has hailed teammate Armando Broja for an impressive display in the 2-0 victory over Fulham on Monday.

On his return to the starting XI, Broja netted a goal seconds after Mudyrk’s opener to seal the win for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

The striker has been on the sidelines for months following a severe injury since 2022, and Colwill sees the need to commend the Albanian.

In a post-match statement, he said: “I’m so happy for him.

“It’s been a long time he was out and has been working so hard. To come in today and score…it’s the best way to come back.

“He’s got everything; he’s a problem [for defenders]. I’d hate to play against him. He’s big, strong, and takes his chances.”
