Following Chelsea’s victory over Fulham on Monday night, Chelsea defender Levi Colwill has hailed Mudryk for an impressive display.

Mudryk converted an outstanding cross from the defender early in the game which gave Chelsea the lead.

In a post-match statement, Colwill stated: “It’s amazing, I’m so happy for him, you could see in the celebrations.

“He deserved that. He is a great player, can be one of the best in the world. Now it’s about kicking on from here.

“He’s got everything you want in a winger. He just needs to show it every game.

“It’s been tough for him since he joined, 100%, but in the first half he was amazing. Everyone can see the qualities he has and we see it all the time in training.

“He is such a good player and to come here and bring it in the first half was an amazing. Now he’s got to build on it.”
