Broja: A goal is a goal

Chelsea striker Armando Broja has backed his goal against Fulham stating that ‘a goal is a goal’.

The striker doubled the scores for Chelsea after an attempted clearance by Fulham defender Tim Ream got deflected his leg into the net.

According to Broja, his goal secured the three points for Chelsea, no matter the nature.

The 22-year-old further urged his team to keep on the winning form as the Blues have recorded two consecutive wins in all competitions.

He said: “As a striker they all count, no matter how it goes in -a goal’s a goal. It’s important for strikers to score confidence-wise, it’s just a big drive going forward.

“But the most important thing is the three points. We were struggling a bit, but it’s two wins on the bounce now and hopefully we can continue that momentum going forward.”
