The debate is normally between choosing between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo but that isn’t the case with Chelsea Women star Lauren James.

Speaking to Sky Sports ahead of Chelsea Women’s clash against Tottenham, former Blue Karen Carney asked who James prefers out of Messi and Ronaldo.

James prefers Messi over Ronaldo, but straight away revealed that she preferred ‘prime’ Eden Hazard over Messi.

Carney then asked if it was because she’s a Chelsea fan, but James insisted: “No, I just like the way he plays, just the way he dribbles. I still have Messi, but Hazard will always be my favourite.”

Hazard scored 110 goals in 352 appearances for Chelsea and proved key in two Premier League wins, as well as Europa League, FA Cup and League Cup triumphs.
