Chelsea beat Brighton 1-0 at Stamford Bridge in a Carabao Cup tie on Wednesday night but Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi believes his team should have scored five goals against Chelsea.
De Zerbi said: “Even on Wednesday evening [against Chelsea] we could have scored from four or five clear situations. I remember Ansu Fati man to man with the goalkeeper and Joao Pedro as well.
“Solly March in the second half, another big, big chance. Joao Pedro in the second half again. And Estupinan, man to man with the keeper.
“I told you, five chances! In the Premier League, too. it’s the same. We could score more goals.”
