Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has hailed Marc Cucurella following a beast-like performance against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Carabao Cup third round.

Cucurella who just made his second appearance of the season for the Blues gave a fascinating display. The 25-year-old started as a right-back against his former club, and put in a very spirited performance.

Despite series of disturbances from one of the best dribblers in the Premier League Kaoru Mitoma, Cucurella just got more used to the pressure and endured for 90 minutes.

Cucurella uploaded a post to celebrate the win over Brighton on his Instagram and Enzo Fernandez responded to the post, “What an animal.”
