Chelsea summer signing Cole Palmer, has hailed the team’s win against Brighton.

Palmer assisted Nicolas Jackson for the only goal in the 1-0 win over the Seagulls, thereby qualifying the Blues for the next round of the Carabao Cup.

Palmer hailed his teammates for claiming such a much-needed victory, and believes it will help boost morale to win upcoming games.

After the game, he said: “That’s a big for us. I think it’s somewhat of a relief, especially off the back of some poor results, to get the victory.

“We’ve shown tonight, against a very good side, what we are all about and we just need to build on this performance now and hopefully get some more wins.”
