Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has admitted his determination to change people’s perception about the club.

The Blues have had a rough start to the 2023/2024 Premier League campaign, losing three games out of six, claiming a win and two draws.

Pochettino stated that it is normal for people to question his squad’s ability, whether they are suffering from lack of experience, but the boss insists that isn’t the case as multiple injuries is a factor.

He said: “We hope to have time to change that perception, because we are going to change that perception. We only need time until we start to be more positive and get some results which help us to increase our confidence.

“We cannot buy confidence at the supermarket! It is time, because that is how our brains work. It is about little by little creating situations that can provide the trust and the confidence and the belief.”
