Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has expressed his delight in the return of Chelsea striker Armando Broja to action after being away for months due to injury.
Broja was forced to the sidelines following an injury he picked up 10 months ago. He only returned to training weeks ago and featured in Chelsea’s game against Aston Villa, as he came in as a second-half substitute.
Although the West London club recorded a 1-0 defeat against Aston Villa, Pochettino still acknowledged Broja’s presence on the field and also added that the player should build his confidence.
The Argentine coach said: “It was good to see Broja again after nine or 10 months. Also I think because it gives us the possibility to have different options, and those possibilities are good for the team. But he needs to build his confidence also.”
