Mauricio Pochettino’s side suffered another defeat as Aston Villa took advantage of 10-man Chelsea to win 1-0.
The Blues have had a poor start to the new Premier League campaign recording three losses in six games already.
Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher, has expressed his frustration in the defeat to Aston Villa but also admitted that his team will remain positive.
Chelsea play Brighton on Wednesday in the League Cup, and Fulham next in the Premier League, and Gallagher is expecting a Chelsea victory.
In a Post-match conference, Conor Gallagher stated: “It’s really disappointing to lose the game.
“We came into this one trying to win the game and given that we are struggling for points, we were desperate to win today.
“Obviously the red card doesn’t help but we can’t make any excuses. We’re just really disappointed and we’re determined to put it right for the next game.”
