Chelsea centre-back Thiago Silva has admitted that he is unhappy not being able to participate in the UEFA Champions League this season.

Following a poor performance from the Blues last season, the West London side were not able to compete in the European competition for this campaign.

The former PSG and AC Milan captain has participated in the Champions League for the last 14 seasons.

In a post yesterday, the 38-year-old tagged the official Champions League profile with a crying emoji and pinned it to his profile.
