Chelsea defender Alfie Gilchrist has extended his contract at Stamford Bridge by another year.
The 19-year-old, who was an unused substitute against Bournemouth on Sunday in the Premier League, had one year left on his contract. The teenager has now extended his contract until 2025 summer.
According to Evening Standard, Chelsea are eager to see if Alfie Gilchrist can make it into the first team.
Sheffield United showed interest in the 19-year-old during the last summer window but their bid was rejected.
Loan offers also came in for the player, but he choose to stick around and fight for game time at Chelsea.
