Mauricio Pochettino has admitted he has a lot of work to do with his Chelsea squad.

The new Blues boss believes injuries have killed the team he is trying to build, as Chelsea have gotten only five points from their opening five games.

Amid criticisms and complains from fans, Pochettino has said Chelsea fans can do whatever they want.

The Argentine insists he won’t cry about fans’ complaints, but will rather go to work with his team.

The Blues gaffer said: “We don’t have all the squad available from the beginning of the season.

“What can we do? For me I have nothing to say. The fans can do whatever they want. We know what we need to do, we are strong in our belief.

“We have had bad luck. We had 12 injured (out) today, plus Noni, Cucurella and Caicedo. Then we have three, four young guys and two keepers on the bench. Okay am I going to cry, am I going to complain? I need to accept this, the challenge and keep being positive.”
