Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has said the Blues were unlucky to walk away with a point in the game against Bournemouth on Sunday.

The Blues continued their poor form after the international break, picking just five points from five Premier League games following a goalless draw against Bournemouth.

Pochettino blames the poor form on numerous injuries and a young team.

The Argentine has asked for patience from the fans, as he continues to work on the young team.

Pochettino said: “Chelsea is about winning but now it’s another Chelsea, another way to operate.

“We’re working hard to create a culture to win with this group of players that was in the past completely different.

“I told you before the season, Chelsea is about the win. Young players need to feel what it means to be a Chelsea player. I can understand emotion, football is about emotion. The fans will help the team win.

“Because of expectations. I think the fans know if you invest the type of money, there is expectation. What I can tell the fans is the circumstance, I cannot change the reality.

“With all of the squad fit we can compete, we don’t have all of the squad available, what can we do? For me, nothing to say, the fans can do this. 12 injured today… I am going to cry, I am going to complain, to who? I have to accept.”
