Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has said he wants a different approach to game from his players during this weekend game with Bournemouth.
Having lost twice this season already, the Blues boss has called out some of his very experienced players in the team to step up and be counted.
Pochettino also admitted that he needs his squad fit and firing, as injury has ravaged Chelsea so early in the season.
“To control the game you need your whole squad fit and involved if you want to control the game,” Pochettino said.
“You need the same quality and the players that come from the bench need to be an impact. You need to have quality. If you have all the players fit for sure.
“You can say about Jackson, but Jackson needs Sterling and Sterling needs Jackson. Nkunku is injured, Madueke was injured. They all have their own problems and at the moment they are all so focused on trying to be fit.
“Then you add the pressure saying you need to help the team and perform for your teammate. These things need to be altogether, it is a process and that is why I am not worried.
“I am disappointed, of course, about the results but not about the process. We knew when we signed that the process was going to be tough but we are so positive and we are going to be positive no matter what happens because it is a long way still and we have the quality.”
