Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah was linked with an exit from the club during the summer transfer window.
Despite interest from Bayern Munich and Nottingham Forest, there was no movement for the 24-year-old academy graduate.
Reports had claimed that Chalobah was not in manager Mauricio Pochettino’s plans, and consequently had been frozen out of the squad.
Speaking to the media recently, Pochettino has said those rumours were untrue.
“Trevoh Chalobah is in my plans, no one else is going to make decisions for me,” said Pochettino.
“I have enough knowledge to be involved in a decision. Everyone in the squad is part of my plans.”
Nevertheless, Chalobah finds himself bottom in the pecking order of Chelsea’s defenders.
