Following the signing of England captain, Harry Kane for the sum of £104m from Tottenham, Bundesliga side, Bayern Munich are preparing a January bid for Blues defender, Trevoh Chalobah.

According to reports, Thomas Tuchel is planning a raid on his former club to bring in Chalobah to Bayern Munich.

The ex-Blues boss wants to make another attempt on the 24-year-old in the upcoming January window after failing the initial attempt to sign the defender last summer.

Football Insider reveals that Tuchel is a “big admirer” of Chalobah, and the player seems to not be among Mauricio Pochettino’s plan for the season.

It was Tuchel who gave Chalobah his debut at Chelsea, and the academy product impressed under the watch of the German during his time at Stamford Bridge.

Chalobah is yet to record a minute for the Blues this season due to hamstring injury, but is expected to return towards the end of this month.

The 24-year-old only signed a new contract last year and is tied to the West London outfit until June 2028.

The £50,000-a-week ace made 33 appearances for the club last year, to make his tally 63 in total since his first-team breakthrough.
