Reece James exit from Chelsea might be sooner that expected, that’s according to a report on Sport.
The report claims that the Blues might offload captain, Reece James in the nearest future if suitable offers come around.
The player who was handed the captain band earlier this summer due to the exit of Jorginho and Cesar Azpilicuetta, got back to full fitness during the pre-season with the hope that he will be the main man in the team.
However, the 23-year-old suffered a reoccurring hamstring in training, following his early exit from our opening Premier League game against Liverpool.
His absence has allowed Malo Gusto receive some play time, although the player might go back to the bench upon James return.
Sport have revealed that the player can be sold for “a good price” in the future, due to his frequent injury troubles.
Spanish side, Real Madrid are alleged to put down a £40m(£34.35m) proposal by the end of the season, as they require a long-term replacement for Dani Carvajal who is 31 years old and has less than two years on his contract.
The report adds that Real would not be prepared to go as high as €65m (£55.82m), a valuation that has been suggested in the past.
