Chelsea teen Captain, Runham, has admitted that Reece James is an inspiration to his fellow academy teammates.
The teenager who is currently enjoying an outstanding form has revealed that knowing Reece James is a motivation to the young club players.
In a statement with the club’s official website, the U-18 attacker said: “I really like Reece James, more so because he came from the Academy and he made it to the first team. I want to do that that too. It is a big inspiration for us younger boys to see guys from the Academy make it over the road.”
The teen captain hopes to establish himself as a creative midfielder.
He added: “I think in all the positions that I have played in, I enjoy playing as a No10 the most. You see more of the game. You are able to make things happen, whether it be assisting or scoring, and I think I showcase my talents best there. However, I am always happy to play wherever the coach thinks I can affect the game the most.”
