According to recent reports, as the search for another forward continues, Mauricio Pochettino’s side are “dreaming” of a move to land Napoli striker Victor Osimhen at Stamford Bridge soon.

However, it will take well over £100m to land the Nigerian.

The West London side have undergone a reshuffling to enable the team return to its past glory.

In recent years, Chelsea have been lacking a major goal scoring figure. It’s something that has been missing since the exit of Diego Costa. The club attempted getting a replacement in Romelu Lukaku for £97million, but it’s a move that didn’t work out.

During the just concluded summer window, Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson, were brought in, with hopes that they will be able to fill the missing void which the club has been sorting for years.

So far though, after just four games in the league, that hasn’t been the case as the former has been sidelined due to injury and the latter has been looking dangerous but hasn’t been able to put chances away.

As the club awaits the return of Armando Broja from injury who could play a factor, there have been talks over a potential striker addition in the January transfer window. Brentford’s Ivan Toney has been one of those linked with a potential switch in the winter.
