Chelsea winger, Mykhailo Mudryk has been touted as a flop following his hefty transfer fee.

Mudryk has however been backed by former assistant manager of Dynamo Kiev, Diego Longo.

The Ukrainian who moved from Shakhtar Donetsk in January has not displayed his worth yet in England.

However, Longo has still sang his praises, and has backed the Ukrainian to come good.

He told Sport Italia: “Mudryk is a big danger, an extraordinary player.

“I was lucky enough to see him and meet him. To tell you the truth even to suggest him to some Italian clubs when he was worth very little. But as always the answer was that they couldn’t risk it.

“After a year and a half, we know how much money he went to Chelsea for. Tonight many who didn’t even know who he was before will have the chance to get to know him better or change their minds. There are also others.”
