Romeo Lavia is yet to kick a ball for Chelsea this season, and he may not do that for another six weeks.
Chelsea paid over £50m to sign Lavia from Southampton, but he’s yet to make his Blues debut.
Chelsea are now worried that the 19-year-old central midfielder could miss several more weeks with an injury problem.
According to the Daily Mail, Lavia went over on his ankle last week during a training incident at Cobham.
Scan results reveal that the midfielder has suffered ankle ligament damage, and the Belgian, who is yet to make his debut for the club, will be out for another six weeks.
Mauricio Pochettino will definitely be unhappy as the injury list continues to mount.
Meanwhile, Chelsea defender Benoit Badiashile is now back in full training, the club has confirmed.
The defender is yet to play this season after suffering a hamstring injury during pre-season.
Badiashile’s last game for the club was the 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest last season, back in May.
