Norway star Antonio Nusa has spoken out over his failed deadline day move to Chelsea after the Blues had a £23m bid rejected for the Club Brugge winger.

Nusa, 18, moved to Club Brugge in 2021 and has made a total of 46 appearances to date for the Belgian side.

The Norwegian has now spoken openly about his failed move to Chelsea and said: “I already knew that it wasn’t going to happen now.

“But then the money came on the table. Then it is seen in a slightly different way.

“We had to have another conversation when the money arrived, but we were on the same page, so there was no problem there.”
