Chelsea are in the market for one more major attacking signing before the transfer window closes on Friday.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano via Football London, Chelsea owners held a meeting on Tuesday night ahead of the final few days of the summer transfer window.

With the plans still to be clarified, Romano reports that the Chelsea ownership have held talks at Cobham on Tuesday to discuss the final plans for the window, predicting that a huge twist is in store. The Blues are claimed to be wanting to keep their targets a “secret” – which could throw up a surprise signing.

The Blues are interested in adding a versatile forward to the squad, with the capability of playing as a number ten as well as on the wings.
