According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have been offered the chance to sign Barcelona forward Ansu Fati.

The 20 year old Barcelona star was once hailed as the heir to Lionel Messi at Barcelona but has struggled for game time under Barcelona boss Xavi Hernandez.

Romano tweeted: “Ansu Fati situation, one to watch until the end of the window as mentioned multiple times.

“Understand Tottenham made contact to be informed on Ansu Fati situation while talks for Brennan Johnson continue.

“Chelsea have also been presented Ansu opportunity earlier this week.”
