According to French media outlet L’Equipe via GOAL, Chelsea transfer target Rayan Cherki won’t be allowed to leave Lyon this summer.

The report states: “As per L’Equipe, Olympique Lyon have ruled out any move for Rayan Cherki this summer amidst interest from across Europe.

“The 20-year-old had a breakout 2022/23 season which has attracted attention from Chelsea, Newcastle United, and several other clubs.

“However, no move has materialized as of yet although Lyon have set a firm stance on the starlet.

“L’Equipe has revealed that the club are unwilling to part with the 20-year-old this summer as they see him as an important part of their team.

“Not only that, this comes in light of Bradley Barcola’s potential move to PSG with negotiations between the two sides currently ongoing.

“The report has further indicated that Lyon are resigned to losing Barcola which has reinforced their stance on Cherki’s future.”
