If I’m not doing that I’m nowhere near my best – Raheem Sterling tells Mauricio Pochettino

Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling has revealed how Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino can help him return to his best form.

The 28-year-old was in devastating form in last Sunday’s 3-1 defeat at West Ham, winning a penalty missed by Enzo Fernandez and creating several chances.

It was arguably his best performance in a Chelsea shirt since his £50million move from Manchester City in 2022.

“I’m a player that needs to be driving, action after action,” said Sterling. “If I’m not doing that I’m nowhere near my best. I have to turn, drive and be aggressive.”

“I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or not,” said Pochettino about Sterling. “We were talking a lot this week and we trust him. He’s a player that can deliver what we want.”
