According to 90min, Chelsea have agreed a deal to loan out Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos to Nottingham Forest.

The Blues signed the Brazilian midfielder from Vasco da Gama in January but he spent the rest of the season on loan at the Brazilian club.

With the Blues signing Moises Caicedo, Romeo Lavia and Lesley Ugochukwu this summer, it is believed Santos will struggle for minutes at Chelsea this season. Santos did not even make the matchday squad for the defeat to West Ham United.

While Mauricio Pochettino is a huge fan of the midfielder, it is believed a loan move would be more beneficial for Santos.

Chelsea would prefer to see Santos start regularly in the Premier League rather than play limited minutes at Stamford Bridge, and so a deal has been agreed to send the 19-year-old to Forest to work with Steve Cooper.
