According to Daily Mail, Serbia international goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic will have his Chelsea medical on Thursday ahead of completing his transfer to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have reached an agreement with MLS side New England Revolution to sign the Serbian goalkeeper for £14million.
Petrovic, who has two caps for Serbia, has two years remaining on his contract at New England Revolution, having succeeded Matt Turner as the club’s first choice keeper, after he departed the MLS to join Arsenal.
Chelsea are keen on signing a goalkeeper following the exit of Kepa Arrizabalaga to Real Madrid on a season-long loan deal.
Petrovic made 22 appearances for New England in the MLS last season keeping seven clean sheets.
