Chelsea legend Frank Leboeuf has warned Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly that Chelsea is a team for the present and not a team for the future.

The Blues have focused on signing young players on a long-term contract under the club’s new ownership.

Leboeuf told ESPN: “I always say it and I will keep saying it, Chelsea are getting young players on long-term contracts that will be nice for the future.

“This club is not a team for the future, it’s a team for the present time! And in the present, they are not ready.”
