Chelsea are now set to complete the transfer of Romeo Lavia from Southampton in a deal worth £58million after also completing the transfer of Moises Caicedo from Brighton for £115million.

According to Evening Standard, three midfielders could now leave Chelsea before transfer deadline day with Lavia set to complete his Chelsea transfer.

Chelsea midfielders Conor Gallagher, Carney Chukwuemeka and Lesley Ugochukwu could all leave Chelsea before the transfer window closes following the arrivals of Caicedo and Lavia.

Chukwuemeka and Ugochukwu are expected to leave the club on loan while Chelsea are open to selling Gallagher despite the midfielder’s desire to fight his place at the club.

Chelsea are expected to keep Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos in the squad as midfield cover.
