According to Daily Mail, Premier League side West Ham have emerged as a serious contender to sign Montpellier striker and Chelsea transfer target Elye Wahi.

The French side rejected a bid from Chelsea last month for the 20-year-old. 

West Ham have reportedly held positive early talks with representatives of the player and Montpellier. Wahi is valued at €35million (£30m) by Montpellier.
