According to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth, Belgium midfielder Romeo Lavia has completed his Chelsea medical ahead of his move from Southampton.
Chelsea have agreed a £58million deal with Southampton including add-ons for the transfer of Lavia and he needs to be registered by midday Friday to be available to play against West Ham on Sunday.
Southampton only signed Lavia from Manchester City last year in a deal worth an initial £10.5m with possible add-ons taking it up to £14m.
Liverpool reached an agreement with Southampton to sign Lavia for £60million but the midfielder opted against joining Liverpool. The 19 year old made it clear he wanted to join Chelsea.
