According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have reached an agreement with Turkish club Galatasaray for the transfer of Chelsea forward and Moroccan World Cup star Hakim Ziyech.
Romano tweeted: “Chelsea have reached verbal agreement in principle with Galatasaray for Hakim Ziyech transfer.
“Deal subject to further details and also medical tests — as Chelsea are careful after twists with PSG and Al Nassr.”
Meanwhile, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has claimed Kepa Arrizabalaga turned down other clubs to seal his loan move from Chelsea.
The 28 year old Spanish goalkeeper has completed a season-long loan deal to Real Madrid following the long-term injury to Real Madrid number one goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
German champions Bayern Munich were also interested in signing Kepa on loan as replacement for Manuel Neuer, who is out injured until 2024, but Kepa reportedly only wanted Real Madrid.
“Kepa had big offers on the table but he decided to join us — he only wanted Real Madrid,” Real Madrid president Perez said.
