According to Caughtoffside, Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur are set to battle Chelsea for the transfer of 20 year old Montpelier striker Elye Wahi.

Tottenham Hotspur are in the market for a striker after selling Harry Kane to Bayern Munich and Wahi has been identified as a potential replacement for Kane.

Chelsea have always had a specific plan in mind for Wahi, and that is to sign the player and immediately let him go on loan at Strasbourg.

However, the report claims the player isn’t happy with a loan move and, as a result, there’s likely to be fierce competition for him.

German club Eintracht Frankfurt are interested in signing Wahi in the event of Randal Kolo Muani’s exit while Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in the 20 year old striker.
