Premier League side Newcastle United are interested in signing Chelsea left-back Lewis Hall, according to Daily Mail.
Hall had been expected to sign a six year contract with Chelsea before going out on loan to Crystal Palace but Newcastle United are open to buying the 18-year-old.
Newcastle United are keen on signing a left-back this summer and have identified Hall as an ideal target. Marc Cucurella is also being considered by Newcastle United.
Hall has made 17 first team appearances for Chelsea since making his first team breakthrough during the 2021-22 season.
He was named Chelsea’s academy player of the year for last season.
However, his game time looked set to be limited at Stamford Bridge this season, with Mauricio Pochettino having Ben Chilwell, Cucurella and Ian Maatsen at left back.
Hall is also capable of playing in midfield. The 18-year-old has represented England from under-15 to under-21 level.
