Following Chelsea’s 1-1 draw against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino gave an update on Chelsea’s pursuit of Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo.

Liverpool agreed a £111million deal with Brighton for Caicedo but the midfielder opted against undergoing a Liverpool medical as he only wanted to join Chelsea.

The Blues are reportedly in talks with Brighton on the structure of a £115million bid for Caicedo and the midfielder is expected to be a Chelsea player soon.

Probed for an update on Chelsea’s move for Caicedo, Pochettino said: “No, at the moment we know nothing. We are working so hard. In the moment something happens, we will inform you directly through the club.”
