Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has now confirmed via his YouTube channel that Chelsea have submitted an official bid for Ecuadorian midfielder Moises Caicedo.

According to Romano, Chelsea and Brighton are currently exchanging emails to finalise the transfer of Caicedo after Chelsea submitted a bid worth more than Liverpool’s £110million offer.

Romano also insists Caicedo’s transfer to Chelsea is getting closer with both clubs now working on the details and structure of the transfer.

Chelsea are working late into the night to finalise the transfer of Caicedo so he can be presented to fans at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League clash against Liverpool.
