According to a report on the Sun, Chelsea have now submitted a British record transfer fee for Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo.

The report states: “Chelsea have submitted a British record £115million offer for Brighton star Moises Caicedo.

“SunSport revealed how Caicedo, 21, snubbed a move to Liverpool as he only wants to join the Blues.

“The Reds had agreed a fee of £110m for the midfielder as Mauricio Pochettino looked to have missed out on his top target.

“Now it has emerged that the Ecuador international rejected the deal as he had his heart set on moving to Stamford Bridge.

“A wide-range of reports then claimed that the West Londoners were preparing another offer to top the Merseysiders to try and get their man.

“Now SPORT1 reporter Patrick Berger and Nathan Gissing of the CFC Newspage have claimed that a fresh bid of £115m has been tabled by Chelsea.”
