Liverpool have submitted a British record £110million for the transfer of Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo, who is also a Chelsea transfer target.

Brighton have now accepted the offer from Liverpool and Liverpool must wait to see if Chelsea now match the bid for Caicedo.

According to the Times, Caicedo is currently in London and the Ecuadorian midfielder prefers a move to Chelsea despite Liverpool having a bid agreed for the midfielder.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is hoping he has the opportunity to speak to Caicedo and lay out his vision.
