Moises Caicedo isn’t interested in joining Liverpool despite Brighton accepting a £110million fee from Liverpool for the Ecuador international.

According to the Times via Metro, Chelsea are preparing a new and improved offer for Caicedo after the Brighton midfielder snubbed a move to Liverpool.

Liverpool thought they were set to win the race to sign Caicedo after agreeing a British record £110million with Brighton.

But Caicedo has made it clear to Liverpool that he wants to join Chelsea instead.

Caicedo would become the most expensive signing in Premier League history, just six months after Chelsea paid £105m on Argentina World Cup winner Enzo Fernandez.
