According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Championship side Leicester City have reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign Italian midfielder Cesare Casadei on loan for the rest of the season.

Casadei impressed on loan at Reading last season and also shone at the under-20 World Cup with Italy over the summer as one of the standout players at the tournament.

He won the Golden Boot at the Under-20 World Cup 2023, after scoring seven goals at the tournament.

Chelsea signed Casadei from Inter Milan last summer for a fee of around £17million.
