According to GOAL, West Ham have reached an agreement with Dutch giants Ajax to sign Chelsea transfer target Edson Alvarez.
West Ham and Ajax have agreed a deal of £32 million for Mexico midfielder Alvarez.
Alvarez, a defensive midfielder, will sign a five-year contract and is considered to be a like-for-like replacement for Rice. The 25-year-old will now fly to London for a medical examination.
Meanwhile, according to the Guardian, Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino isn’t convinced about adding Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic to his Chelsea squad.
Juventus are offering Vlahovic, as part of a deal that would see Romelu Lukaku return to Italy and end his Chelsea nightmare.
