According to the Guardian, Chelsea are poised to submit a new bid for Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo after the midfielder missed Brighton’s friendly against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.

According to Brighton, Caicedo was dropped from their friendly against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday because of a tight hamstring.

Chelsea have already had three bids for Caicedo rejected by Brighton, the last of Chelsea’s bid was an £80million offer.

Brighton value Caicedo at £100million and is yet to be seen if the Blues would offer that much for the 21 year old midfielder.

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino is determined to strengthen his midfield before the start of the new season.

Leeds’s Tyler Adams and PSG’s Leandro Paredes are also reportedly being considered by the Blues.
