Former Premier League midfielder Owen Hargreaves believes Chelsea need to sign two central midfielders this summer.

Speaking after Chelsea’s 2-0 pre-season victory over Fulham, Hargreaves said: “They need two central midfield players. The basis of the team is already set but Enzo Fernandez needs help in midfield.”

Former Premier League striker Michael Owen also believes Chelsea need two more additions to the squad.

Owen said: “The more serious business lies ahead for Mauricio Pochettino and his team – they will still need to add one or two to the squad before the Premier League season can start.”
