Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku scored his third pre-season goal as Chelsea beat Fulham 2-0 on Sunday.

Speaking after the game, Nkunku said: “We are trying different positions in pre-season, I like being close to the goal. It is good for our confidence to win, we will be ready for the new season.”

Premier League pundit Robbie Earle also hailed the partnership between Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson.

Earle said: “There is excitement again around Chelsea with Jackson and Nkunku in the attack – Pochettino is starting to build something.”
