According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have completed the transfer of French midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu from French club Rennes.

The midfielder has reportedly signed contract as new Chelsea player after successfully undergoing his Chelsea medical.

“Lesley Ugochukwu has signed contract as new Chelsea player — final decision on loan to Strasbourg will be made in the next days,” Romano reports.

“Pochettino will decide together with the board on best next step for Ugochukwu.”

The 19 year old midfielder joins Chelsea from Rennes in a deal worth €27.5million (£23.5m).

Ugochukwu made 35 appearances for Rennes last season.
